It is time for our Christmas releases, 2024.

This year we've selected a very special farm that we visited back in March in the mountains of Panama. After driving an hour up steep, rocky terrain, we were greeted by a wooden lodge overlooking the rolling hills full of wildlife - one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is no wonder it was home to the coffee that won at the 2023 Best of Panama awards.

The following day we were taken through the farm, where coffee was only a small part of what they do. We got to hear howling monkeys in the forest, see hummingbirds at the lodge and a Toucan high up in the trees, before we reached the flowering coffee plants. The cherries were ripe, sweet and mid-harvest.

We then headed to the lab, where we cupped the coffees and it was here that their passion for what they do and their unique environment translated in to the cup. 

Over the following months we kept in touch and for our seasonal release, we've selected two coffees. This lot is the Catuai, Natural, which has undergone a traditional natural process. After peaking at the peak, it is placed in an indoor drying room for 6-7 weeks and before being finished in a dehumidifier for 72 hours.

In the cup you'll find an interesting, sweet, stewed fruit profile, with flavour notes of apple, clove and strawberry.
