El Oasis sits at 2,150 meters above sea level in Ortega, Tolima - a region known for its high elevations and rich biodiversity. Shade from native and fruit trees covers the 14-hectare farm, where Fernando Bocanegra has been producing coffee since 2017.
Fernando left behind his work as a chef to start a coffee farm with a close friend, aiming to do things differently from the start. After weathering early challenges - including COVID - they built the farm with a focus on quality.
This natural Gesha starts with careful handpicking and hand-sorting of ripe cherries. After a clean water float to remove underripes and debris, the cherries undergo a 12-hour anaerobic fermentation at 20–22°C. Drying takes place in marquesinas for 18–20 days, with regular stirring to ensure consistency and balance.
Expect a vibrant, fruit-forward cup - you'll find flavours of coffee blossom, peach and lemon.

Important Information
Roast Date
We roast coffee every tuesday. If ordered before 11:59pm on a Monday, then it will be dispatched that week. If ordered after, then it will be roasted the following week. This is to ensure the coffee arrives at its freshest.
Shipping & Dispatch
For the UK we use Royal Mail. For outside of the UK we use a tracked international service. If you're UK-based, there is free shipping over £25.
The cut-off deadline is the 11:59pm day prior to dispatch.
