The farms headquarters are located 40 minutes drive from the city of Cali, in the village of Pichinde and in the department of Valle de Cauca. It is an area within the Andes mount range, with an ideal altitude of between 1700 and 2000 meters above sea level. These conditions allow them produce some of the world best, and more exotic coffees, including this Gesha.
Once picked, this Gesha is processed as a traditional natural, with cherries taken directly to dry for 26 days in the drying room, using a method of tiered beds and a state-of-the-art carousel dryer.
We chose this coffee because of its exceptional quality. In the cup you can expect a floral, citrus and fruit-forward flavour profile, reminiscent of mandarin, orange blossom and a candied lemon like acidity.
The balance is phenomenal and is a great example of why the Inmaculada Farms and this Gesha are so highly regarded.
