Mikava has gained acclaim throughout the world of coffee, winning national and international competitions. The coffees grown by Paul Doyle alongside his son, Kevin and their team. We have visited their farm and have been buying their coffee since the beginning of Special Guests.
This lot of Sudan Rume is very small; only 7 kilos of green, which is only around 6kg of roasted coffee available, but we are very glad to be having it as part of our unscheduled releases. Originating from the Rume region near the Ethiopian border (in present-day South Sudan), this varietal is now cultivated globally due to its exceptional disease resistance and often very floral and fruit-like characteristics. This naturally processed lot from Mikava delivers remarkable quality along with impressive flavour complexity.

Important Information
Roast Date
All of our coffees are roasted on Loring coffee roaster each week on Tuesday before dispatch on Wednesday. We recommend resting our coffees for at least 3 weeks for the best results. Please note this can also mean you may receive coffee that has gone through a resting period.
Shipping & Dispatch
We dispatch all of our orders on Wednesdays. For the UK we use Royal Mail 24h service. For outside of the UK we use a tracked international service, at an additional cost, which will be added at checkout.
The cut-off deadline is 11:59pm on Mondays.
