There are some coffees that need little introduction, this is one of them.

This coffee opens up the conversation around species in coffee. Eugenioides is thought to be the parent of modern-day Arabica, the species we have come to associate most with specialty coffee.

Produced at Finca Inmaculada in Colombia, a farm that grows a range of rare and coveted varietals ranging from Sudan Rume to Gesha, this coffee stands out and has found success in competitions around the world for its exceptional, unique and sweet flavour profile. It's interesting and thought-provoking, as well as delicious.

This lot, number 13, after picking, separation, sorting and undergoes a 216 hour fermentation stage, before drying for a further 22 days. The combination of the cherry and process combine in a cup with flavour notes of orange, guava and icing sugar - it's incredibly sweet, with a low bitterness.
