Marcos Herrera is one of Peru’s most respected specialty coffee producers, cultivating Gesha, Bourbon and SL28 varieties at Mamaruntu, his farm in Lonya Grande, Amazonas. A lifelong coffee producer, Marcos earned 14th place in the 2024 Cup of Excellence with this Natural Gesha and has become known for producing coffees of exceptional clarity and character.

For this lot, only fully ripe cherries are selected before undergoing 72 hours of sealed cherry fermentation and approximately 30 days of drying in solar dryers, creating a distinctive profile with remarkable sweetness, complexity and fruit-forward character.

In the cup we find notes of guava, red grapes and sweet cherry.

Important Information

Roast Date

All of our coffees are roasted on Loring coffee roaster each week on Tuesday before dispatch on Wednesday. We recommend resting our coffees for at least 3 weeks for the best results. Please note this can also mean you may receive coffee that has gone through a resting period.

Shipping & Dispatch

We dispatch all of our orders on Wednesdays. For the UK we use Royal Mail 24h service. For outside of the UK we use a tracked international service, at an additional cost, which will be added at checkout.

The cut-off deadline is 11:59pm on Mondays.
